The Consumer Marcom Lead is responsible for overseeing the development of marketing campaigns from ideation to completion. This new position will lead all brand and performance campaigns at Twitter, and therefore is responsible for bringing our brand, campaigns and products to life across product teams and audiences. A successful Marcom lead must have a true brand compass, be able to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive communications and campaigns, simultaneously traffic work across agencies and internal cross functional teams to deliver several projects with various timelines.

This leader should also understand how to bring campaigns to life across multiple channels and build great digital marketing grounded in analytics. He or she will work closely with other cross functional teams including marketing design, product marketing, product management, business development, editorial and communications. This position is full-time, based in our SF office. The successful candidate has:

  • a strong creative perspective to bring fresh ideas to consumer brand, product positioning and marketing campaigns

  • deep knowledge of marketing concepts and technologies within the social & online space, including brand marketing and brand development, messaging and positioning

  • a track record of producing best-in-class marketing communications materials that bring brands and products to life

  • ability to prioritize and track campaign development across various creative mediums and to establish rapport, credibility and influence to drive results across a highly-matrixed organization

  • strong project management skills with a smile

  • fluency in campaign production across digital, video and print and more

 

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

  • 8-10 years of experience in web technology companies, brand marketing or advertising working with global brands or agencies

  • Deep expertise in marketing communications, specifically in bringing product, corporate and brands to life for consumers

  • Superb project management and leadership skills, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal (proven written communication skills)

  • Resourcefulness, flexibility and good humor

  • Passion for social media and especially, of course, Twitter
