The Product Manager will be responsible for designing and executing platform-driven initiatives for Thomson Reuters IP Solutions product lines, with a focus on IP Asset Management solutions. This role is responsible for successful management of the product lifecycle for their assigned product(s), from ideation through product development and launch, through retirement. This position requires a combination of business, marketing, technical expertise, and the ability to work within a team in a high-profile, high-activity environment.

Responsibilities:

* Act as liaison between global marketplace and Product Management for several product lines; act as product owner for modules within those product lines
* Responsible for developing comprehensive product definitions, concept proposals and business cases to support which result in marketable products and product modules
* Responsible for gathering and prioritizing client feedback and understanding client needs in order to drive innovation and increase client adoption and retention
* Participate in and influence cross-functional teams in order to ensure dependencies for proposition, product or service delivery are met
* May support commercial facing teams in client engagement and retention activities

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* 3-5 years product analyst, product management or product development experience with information services solutions/products .
* Experience working with a globally-distributed customer base; experience with Chinese markets highly desired.
* Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organizational model.
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
* Experience with Pragmatic Marketing highly desired.
* Superior client engagement skills, including ability to build and manage client relationships.
* Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to influence internal and external audiences.
* Superior written skills, including experience writing comprehensive business and functional requirements.
* Strong analytic and prioritization skills.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the IP Asset Management market, competitors and requirements.
* Ability to understand and apply technology to product development.
