The Mobile Marketing role will participate in the strategic evolution of Mobile Marketing and mCommerce at Staples. This role requires the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels, take input across a variety of stakeholders, and to communicate ideas and implications in a clear and concise manner. The successful candidate is a problem solver in a fast-moving and highly diverse environment and will bring strong partnership, influencing and project management skills to the group.
Mobile Marketing (Master's) Internship- Summer 2014: 881988
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate various internal research and analysis, third-party data sources, market and competitor information to derive insights, identify trends and define implications for mobile marketing and mCommerce strategy
- Develop business case summarizing overall findings and recommendation including estimated financials to influence marketing strategy, product development marketing investment trade-offs
- Partner with analytics to develop and share insights from reporting and ad hoc analytics; communicate those insights to critical business partners as well as senior leadership to influence business overall business planning
- Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic plans, establish clear objectives and metrics, define targets, manage analytics and data deliverables
- Support the execution of a robust mobile marketing campaign to drive mCommerce sales including campaign optimization and recommendations to evolve the plan accordingly
- Partner across marketing to facilitate a mid-year review of programs and performance
Basic
- 1st year MBA candidate.
- Proactive and self-motivated work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong and effective presentation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Able to develop a structured and logical framework for analyzing a problem from beginning to end
