Responsible for multiple concurring priorities, commitments and projects. Participate in the design of the new architecture in relation to the information systems strategy. Provide estimates on proposed work for use in planning of upcoming efforts. Apply understanding of electronic trading market making business requirements and their mapping to a given software framework. Internally build systems, as part of global development team, performing hands-on development, integration and testing. Use effective communication skills to discuss and secure user requirements, work with support team on release management and coordinate and facilitate project execution and delivery commitment with other IT Teams world-wide in different operational time zones.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in Object-Oriented programming specifically on C#/.Net platform in Capital Markets trading environment. Within the 3 years must have all of the following: experience in the management of executions and negotiations of orders in Capital markets etrading systems; experience developing market connectivity on multiple markets and exchanges; experience in transforming functional specifications into technical designs to be used in trading; experience coordinating and facilitating project execution and delivery commitments with other IT professionals; experience working in a global IT team with members in different operational time zones; experience in developing analytics tools and an algorithm library on equity derivatives or fixed Income derivatives. In lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, plus 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented programming specifically on C#/.Net platform in Capital Markets trading environment. Within the 5 years must have all of the following: experience in the management of executions and negotiations of orders in Capital markets etrading systems; experience developing market connectivity on multiple markets and exchanges; experience in transforming functional specifications into technical designs to be used in trading; experience coordinating and facilitating project execution and delivery commitments with other IT professionals; experience working in a global IT team with members in different operational time zones; experience in developing analytics tools and an algorithm library on equity derivatives or fixed Income derivatives.
