In this position, the individual will have the opportunity to rotate into up to 3 roles in the Finance/Accounting organization in the SanDisk Corporate headquarters. Each rotation will be 12-18 months. Upon completion of the rotation, based on need, interest and opportunity, the individual may join one of the SanDisk Finance/Accounting organizations. Initial positions include assignments in the following areas: FP&A (financial planning & analysis) - Supporting business units or functional areas in budgeting and analysis of results  revenue, cost of sales, and expenses. Development of company-wide financial plans, including income statement, balance sheet and cash-flow. Time horizon can be quarterly targets, annual plan, and strategic long-range plan. Cost Accounting  working with the Supply Chain organization and/or business units to analyze results and improve performance, such as through: optimization of inventory levels and analysis of cost of sales variances. Treasury  management and improvement of the company's banking structure, cash investment policy and practices, foreign currency exposure management, insurance program, and capital structure analysis. Business analyst  focused on process development and process improvement projects, possibly involving implementation of information systems to automate or otherwise improve processes. Benchmarking & financial model analysis.

This position requires an MBA with an emphasis in Finance. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
