As a Senior Financial Analyst you provide financial support and/or analysis in budgeting, planning, business processes, or reporting to a portion of a functional organization or to more senior finance staff. You will perform studies and financial modeling to help future business planning decisions, and create reports and summaries as required by Corporate procedure or compliance regulations. You will interface with cross-functional peers and managers and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges. 

Essential Functions: 
The Senior Financial Analysts' role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. You will help to ensure that departmental objectives and project deadlines are met. The essential functions of the department include: 

- Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making 
- Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes. 
- Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. 
- Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including: 
- Forecasting 
- Budgeting 
- Variance analysis 
- Cost analysis 
- Product pricing 
- Financial/Tax reporting 
- Regulatory/compliance analysis and reporting 
- Integrate financial processes and operations of the business.

-Strong financial planning and analysis skills – forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, regulatory/compliance analysis and reporting. 
-Process oriented; highly analytical; ability to understand the details, yet able to see the big picture and think strategically 
-Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks 
-Strong understanding of US GAAP and the confidence and experience level to manage the potential contradictions that can occur in a commercial environment while upholding governance 
-Ability to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization including remote locations 
-Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities. 
-Flexible, self-starter and results oriented 
-Sense of humor and a “work hard, play hard” mentality a must 
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Oracle, and planning systems such as Hyperion

- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required 
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting /Finance or related field 
- MBA / CPA preferred 
- Demonstrated record of success in prior positions 
- Prior experience supporting an engineering organization within the high tech industry is desired
