We are currently looking for a 2nd/3rd year credit risk analyst with some experience covering Financial Institutions (FI) in the Asia Pacific region. Core responsibilities include:
- Perform all necessary credit due diligence and analysis on FI counterparties that may range from banks, broker dealers, insurance companies, clearing houses, funds, sovereign and sovereign related entities. Broad regional exposure expected.
- Review or recommend for approval credit risk-related transactions originating from FI counterparties.
- General day to day maintenance of the FI credit portfolio.
- Negotiate credit documentation relating to derivatives transactions.
- Conduct industry and sovereign research.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or Economics. MBA or CFA candidates a plus.
- 1-2 years of credit risk experience covering FIs in a leading global financial institution.
- Sound credit research skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Fluency in Mandarin a distinct advantage.
- Strong relationship building skills with various internal stakeholders
