McKinsey Solutions is a fast-growing start-up organization within McKinsey & Company, developing new service models and new tools in the field of business intelligence (big data) and analytics.  McKinsey Solutions is looking for a Senior Solution Analyst.  As the expert in one or several solution domains, the Senior Solution Analyst bridges the gap between the clients' challenging requirements and our applications. 

Senior Solution Analysts are at the core of bridging client business challenges with the capabilities of our solutions.  Senior Solution Analysts play a crucial part in packaging, configuring and deploying solutions.  As a Senior Solution Analyst, you:

• Will work with client representatives and McKinsey consultants in joint problem-solving sessions
• Will drive the process of converting/enriching raw client date sources into high value added value datamart required for solutions to deliver insights related to business challenges at stake
• Are expected to master the analytics/methodology embedded into solutions and the data concepts related to the solution functional or sector domains
• Accompany clients in their use of solutions to drive sustainable and high impact.  This involves engaging with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss how to drive user adoption (leveraging our usage analytics framework), help them with questions they might have regarding the solution usage or applicability, etc.

You will typically have at least 5 years of experience in the field of IT, consulting and/or Business Intelligence.  You possess a Master’s degree in Business or in Engineering; an MBA is considered a plus.  You have strong Excel/VBA skills.  You must be fluent in both English and Japanese.  You also have very strong communication skills in general.
