The Senior Manager, MSP Marketing is a worldwide position responsible for McAfee partner success within the managed services industry.
 
This individual is responsible for leading the MSP partner marketing efforts by supporting collective business goals through market planning, message /positioning support and identifying and executing co-marketing opportunities.  The Sr Manager, MSP Marketing will develop and execute strategic marketing plans with identified MSP partners to meet sales goals and corporate objectives.
 
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the evolving MSP market, significant experience in developing best practice MSP marketing strategies, delivering high-impact marketing plans and driving global execution. The qualified candidate will have extensive experience working with MSP partners and supporting global MSP sales initiatives.  Experience marketing with pure play MSPs, Telcos and Global SIs is required.
Core responsibilities include extensive experience working with MSP organizations in the following areas below.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of partner marketing strategies to align with sales goals
  • Development of detailed joint marketing plans to support global sales priorities. Success in driving marketing plans from concept stage to results
  • Development of collaborative messaging that demonstrates the joint value proposition to customers, partners, sales teams and industry press.
  • Driving tactical execution of quarterly marketing plans by building cross functional (both internal and external) execution teams
  • Tracking and reporting on partner marketing progress/impact through internal communications, including account dashboards
  • Development of customer references/customer case stories.
  • Ability to develop trusted working relationships throughout all levels of the partner marketing organization
  • Understand the competitive technology adoption for security in the MSP market
  • Provide expertise in the area of partner pricing models, program best practices, training and support requirements
  • Oversee MSP market research initiatives
  • Targeted strategic partners identified in the business plan
  • McAfee Product Marketing teams (and their BUs)
  • McAfee field and channel marketing organizations
  • McAfee customer reference team
  • McAfee corporate communications team

Qualifications
 

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

  • BS/BA, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years global marketing experience, including strategic marketing, integrated marketing plan development, communication programs and collaborative demand generation
  • 5+ years MSP partner marketing with high tech company
  • Understanding of security, networking and managed services markets
  • Ability to define marketing objectives, track and evaluate results, including marketing return on investment
  • Ability to build consensus in in a fast-paced, cross functional team environment
  • Project management and reporting skills
  • Budget management skills
  • Superior written, oral communications and organizational skills
