THE CHALLENGE
Corporate Strategy & Research Consultants assist in solving high-impact business problems and support senior managers and executives in making strategic decisions related to their respective businesses.

You will work with a small group of consultants on a project team guided by a lead consultant - an experienced consulting manager who will provide direction and support for the team. Projects are typically in the areas of strategy development and strategic planning, financial analysis, competitive analysis, market positioning and segmentation, pricing, product positioning and profitability, or capital investment decisions.

Responsibilities will be commensurate with your skills, abilities, and development needs. Each team member interfaces directly with the team lead as well as members of the client organization. All members of the team are involved in the analysis and development of reports and presentations for clients and other stakeholders. While no two projects are the same, most have similar team structures and will typically last 2-4 months.

THE ROLE
You will support projects by performing analysis and evaluating the impact of alternate management decisions on company business and financial performance. You will design data collection strategies to yield high-quality, reliable data, utilizing your understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of various analysis tools and techniques, and perform the analysis and the cross-functional integration required to support business decisions in the areas of market positioning, competitive analysis, cost benchmarking, pricing analysis, product positioning, product line profitability, market segmentation, distribution analysis, customer profitability, and make/buy analysis. You will share your insights to build cohesive, compelling, logical arguments and assist your team in creating and communicating presentation material that moves senior management to action.

You will receive initial and on-going training. Because your career progress requires guidance, you will partner with a Career Coach - a senior consultant - who is there to help you with your development, explore opportunities, provide feedback, and serve as a mentor. As you work on projects you will develop key thought-partner relationships with company managers and executives throughout the organization, and these relationships will serve as platforms for strategic advice and your future career development.
