Responsibilities:

  • Lead client problem formulation and problem solving efforts
  • Manage the creation, development, and presentation of final client deliverables
  • Act as the day-to-day, full-time project manager to help ensure consistently successful strategy problem solving efforts
  • Manage small to medium-sized project teams
  • Act as the primary team interface with various levels of client executives
  • Manage and support professional development of KPMG Strategy team staff

Qualifications:

  • Five years work experience including two post-MBA years in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy firm, a boutique strategy firm or in a strategy consulting discipline at a Big 4 firm is preferred; two years of additional relevant work experience, ideally in high-impact business-wide problem solving work experience for an I-banking firm, private equity firm, or strategy and/or corporate development departments of Fortune 100 firms
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Experience in at least one of the following strategy consulting areas: transaction and business due diligence, operational and performance improvement, strategic growth, or other relevant strategy experience
  • Comfort in working across industries and client/project types such as domestic, international (either inbound or outbound), private equity, corporate, government, not-for-profit, organic, and inorganic
  • Comfort in working in ill-defined client situations and ability to travel up to seventy percent of the time
  • Strong business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills
