Compliance Manager – Third Party Oversight Testing-140031381
GENERAL LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Demonstrates extensive regulatory compliance knowledge and possesses compliance testing skills specific to Third Party Oversight (TPO) cross lines of business. Responsibilities will include understanding testing requirements, execution of testing and generally enhancing the Compliance Test Program. Generally interfaces with senior and middle line management. Typically makes decisions independently but discusses unusual or complex issues with compliance management.
Candidates are fully knowledgeable of applicable federal and state regulations specific to TPO for multiple lines of business (Mortgage Banking, Consumer and Commercial Card, Auto Finance, Student Lending, Consumer and Business Banking and Wealth Management) and multiple regulations including but not limited to UDAAP, FCRA, SCRA, Privacy and AML. The successful candidate will be a member of the Consumer & Community Banking Compliance Testing Team.
TYPICAL JOB DUTIES:
- Manages and conducts regulatory compliance reviews by evaluating line of business internal controls through the performance of testing/validations
- Leads Compliance testing reviews of TPO for multiple lines of business in accordance with the established compliance testing program. This includes the testing of procedures, documenting results, conclusions, recommendations and distributing compliance testing review reports
- Participates in the performance and management of governance functions related to the Compliance Testing process
- May lead a team of 4-8 testers fully dedicated to the TPO testing
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Experienced professional with former TPO compliance, TPO audit, and/or TPO Quality Assurance (QA) experience
- Bachelor degree. MBA preferred
- 8-10 years banking experience and 5-8 years TPO compliance, TPO audit and or TPO QA experience
- Excellent decision maker with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and resource management skills
- CRCM preferred
- Familiarity with database languages in order to perform analytics and select transactional testing samples is a plus
