Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Chicago, IL, seeks a MBA student for an intern position to assist the Brand Manager with strategy work for Guest Experience projects in the pipeline for the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands. This paid internship position offers experience that prepares students for a professional career having gained broad exposure to brand strategy and marketing.

Project Description:

  • Follow the Brand Management Process to develop strategic recommendations for several projects in the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House pipeline. 
  • Work with Analytics team to develop and conduct consumer research to guide strategy
  • Conduct competitive, industry and marketplaces assessments to guide strategy
  • Build prototype assessment pulling in cross-functional team members as needed
  • Partner with Analytics team to test prototype
  • Present final strategic recommendation

Project Deliverables / Objectives:

Deliverables include the following, but not limited to:
A1 inclusive brand website build: this would require a competitor and customer audit, an understanding of where we want to go with HZ brands, and setting short and long term milestones to get a more robust and relevant site. The intern would have to partner closely with the Brand Manager, but it's a focused project that an MBA should be able to handle in one summer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required
  • Year in School - MBA
  • Marketing, General Management, preferred majors
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
