We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Management Trainee

Principal responsibilities

OBJECTIVE:

• To provide the Management Trainees (MTs) with skills and knowledge through accelerated/well-rounded training offering a broad range of experiences across diverse business areas.  The programme comprises of classroom/online/on-the-job trainings, project assignments, and networking with senior management, all of which will provide tools to build a strong foundation for future leaders.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE:

• The 18-month structured training programme offers a diverse range of opportunities for MTs to gain exposure in specialised business area.  We aim at developing MTs to support and drive business initiatives.
• I Start-Up and Strong Foundation (15-month)
• Management Trainees will be assigned 15-month cross functional rotation in HSBC. Besides the mandatory new joiner courses and on-line learning, special Induction Programme to allow MTs to meet with all senior management will be provided.
• II Intensive Experience and Exploration (3-month)
• Final Job Assignment: a permanent role before graduation and/or short-term international assignment in ASP countries for development purpose.

Requirements

•  MBA or master degree in related fields
•  High standard of English  (both written & spoken)
•  International exposure through work or education will be an advantage
•  Leadership potential with excellent  interpersonal and team work skills
•  Self-motivated with strong planning and organizing skills
•  Innovative, flexible, resilient and have the ability to think out of the box
•  Strong presentation skills
•  Specific functional knowledge and skills will be advantages
•  Display high potential to grow and the willingness to take challenges.
