The incumbent will be responsible to provide sales solutions to the existing client base while developing long term sales strategies to grow the Indonesian market.
  • Develop account strategies and growth opportunities for Power Generation Services Sales in the Indonesian market to drive volume growth, sales, orders and margin. 
  • Identify customer's requirements and unique business needs and configure solutions to target these needs, offering effective solutions and appropriate product fit. 
  • Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer organization by maintaining and expanding customer relationships with key executive and management contacts. 
  • Proactive influence assigned customer product specifications and project prioritization and leverage GE product offerings and services. 
  • Develop new customers and grow existing customer market share in, new equipment, replacements, repairs and Field Services supporting the Parts, Services, repairs and long term maintenance businesses. 
  • Promote Power Generation Services portfolio in the power generation market, to provide solutions for turbine and generator spares, repairs, maintenance and upgrades. Also provide and drive solutions for plant optimizations, emissions monitoring and control, boiler optimization and control. 
  • Develop customer relationships at the transactional level with key decision makers and vertically integrate accounts to upper management and executivelevels, continuously moving accounts to long term service agreements. 
  • Create, communicate and execute a sales/growth strategy and well defined action plan for each assigned customer and key product lines. 
  • Promote the Power & Water portfolio; work in a boundaryless fashion with other Power & Water segments and other GE businesses to drive orders and growth opportunities for GE Power & Water in Thailand 
  • Be knowledgeable of key economic drivers in the market, Customers' drivers, and competitive landscape. 
  • Integrate with country sales teams to package a solution and drive value for the Customer and GE. 
  • Owns and manages the whole sales and risk process activities as required to support opportunity identification, development, negotiation and closure. Remove any associated internal barriers to success. 
  • Provide competitive market feedback to the businesses on any proposals, won or lost.
  • Engineering Degree (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent related education and experience. 
  • A minimum of 5 years Experience in the power generation market. 
  • Would be an advantage to have experience on Turbines and generators. 
  • Proven track record; a highly motivated and energetic "self starter" who is goal oriented, has strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills. 
  • Ability to interface and influence all levels of the customer organization as well as internal GE. 
  • Strategic thinker, who can create a market and develop opportunities. 
  • Knowledge/experience of Power Plant Operation and Maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs. 
  • Experienced in direct Sales of products and Solutions. 
  • Strong and broad understanding of current industry trends. 
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task effectively 
  • Strong commitment and passion to serve the customer, striving for win-win solutions
