Major Responsibilities

External

  • In conjunction with the Business Development Director and Partners, develop and implement a key account strategy that takes into consideration all service lines.
  • Secure and assist key target calls with senior decision makers.
  • Assist the Business Development Director to identify, qualify, pursue, negotiate and resolve any concerns to close target sales.
  • Assist the Business Development Director in initiating and developing new relationships with target clients.
  • Take an active role in networking activities including active participation in business chambers, working with key personnel to drive the involvement.

Internal

  • Work with the Partners and senior executives to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Work with the Partners and senior executives to manage major accounts and targets.
  • .
  • Contribute ideas and insights to the business development community within Ernst & Young.
  • Help develop this community.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Marketing with one of the relevant majors preferred
  • MBA, ACCA ,CPA or equivalent designation would be viewed favorably
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a strategic sales environment with a proven track record.
  • Strong financial knowledge gained through managing complex sales requiring business case development.
  • Experience selling to CEO / CFO / CIO / CRO /Heads of Business Units, Boards.
  • Strong knowledge of target industries, regulatory environment, drivers, issues, initiatives and practices.
