About the Business Line *Environment*

Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

* Public Health / Social Sciences

- Key knowledge related to public health (epidemiology, morbidity/mortality rates, community and workplace hygiene and sanitation, community health, workplace safety) and social sciences research and methodology (social-economic surveys)
- Knowledge of SPSS an advantage
- Constantly updated on the literature and development on public health and the social sciences.
* Policy/Program Development Skills

- Design, plan and evaluate public health and social development policies, programs and projects.
* Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.

* Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.

* Shall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.

Minimum Requirements 
* Degree in Public Health with social sciences minor or Social Sciences (sociology, anthropology, psychology, economics) with public health minor; Master’s degree is optional but an advantagePreferred Qualifications 
* Hygiene and sanitation background* EIA experience; knowledge of Philippine environmental codes, laws and regulations; familiar with environmental requirements and guidelines of projects funded by lending agencies such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), AUSAID and USAID
* Strong computer literacy
* Knowledge of Philippine language other than Tagalog
* The position will involve domestic travelling
* Understanding of environmental impact assessment methods and protocols
* Familiar with the Philippine environmental laws and regulations
* Maintain work within project budgets
* Maintain harmonious client relationships at the project and local market level.
* Good technical writing and presentation skills
* Computer literate; knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Conversation/Fluent in Bisaya or Mindanao dialects
