Dell.com and Premier.com are Dell's eCommerce store Consumer and Commercial business segments.  Reporting to Japan Online Director, this position will take on responsibility for all aspects of the Japan Transaction Online environment including owning online revenue, margin performance, merchandising, site traffic, conversion rate and customer experience.  This person will also be responsible for working with IT, Order Processing, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Global Online team to test and launch new features on Online tool.  Partnership with Consumer, Small and Medium Business Sales, Client and Enterprise Marketing and Global Online teams will be critical to success in this role.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Manage Japan Transaction Online team to deliver marketing programs that support the Japan Consumer+Small business strategies, objectives and goals.
  • Work with Japan CSO, Marketing Brand and Sales leaders to set quarterly financial plan and targets for the Japan Transactional online business.
  • Provide daily, weekly and quarterly assessments of KPIs including Conversion, Frictionless and Launch update to Sales GMs and Marketing leaders on online demand generation programs, recommend and create product offering/bundles, obtain Finance approvals
  • Identify Japan specific IT requirements to assess, address and remove gaps and/or redundancies – Simplify is key
  • Actively participate and contribute in Japan Online strategy forums with the spirit of growing Online penetration beyond Consumer and Small Business segments
  • Tight interlock/alignment with Product Marketing, Segment marketing, Sales and IT to ensure optimal internal and external Customer Experience (CE) when using Dell.com and/or Premier.

Qualifications
 

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years proven experience in commercial or consumer sales or marketing - ideally from managerial background with strong business and financial acumen preferably in the online arena. Masters Degree (MBA) is preferred.

l  Language: Excellent written and verbal English and Japanese.

l  Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proven leadership qualities and strong motivational team building and spirit.

l  Sound knowledge of Sales procedures (both online and offline) to enable quick problem solving.

l  Strong organization building, planning and operations management skills.

l  Results & execution oriented with Priority setting skill.

l  Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed, autonomous environment.

l  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving and demanding environment.

l  Experience in Dell Business Model, Online Merchandizing & B2B applications is a plus.
