Position Details

SUMMARY
The M&A team works closely with senior executives at CCI and CEI to identify markets, services and/or technologies to enhance CCI's competitive position in the marketplace and accelerate profitable revenue growth through synergistic acquisitions, strategic investments, and business alliances. We source and evaluate acquisition opportunities across existing and future markets, drive management team decisions, lead due diligence and deal negotiations, and help manage post-acquisition integration and performance evaluation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions, you will report to the Executive Director(s) and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions. You will be responsible for the development of comprehensive financial models to evaluate a wide range of business opportunities, including M&A, strategic investments, commercial partnerships, and strategic alliances. In addition, the Manager will develop extensive research and analysis of industries, potential acquisition targets and/or partners, and competitors and communicate findings and recommendations to senior management. You will work collaboratively across functions (including Strategy, Finance, Legal, Field Operations) and provide the senior management with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making. You will bring strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is -- and what could be.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing decision-making frameworks for evaluation of acquisition and investment opportunities.
2. Identifying and evaluating (potential candidates for acquisition or investment.
3. Conducting rigorous valuation analyses (using multiple methodologies) and business/integration case modeling in order to provide detailed guidance regarding potential acquisitions or investments.
4. Coordinating due diligence reviews of potential candidates, and evaluating/presenting the due diligence results.
5. Facilitating and managing acquisition and investment processes with cross-functional groups involving persons from Corporate Strategy, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Product Management and Field Operations teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

1. 3+ years of relevant work experience.
2. Work experience at a top-tier investment bank, strategy consulting firm, private equity firm and/or venture capital firm required.
3. Track record of consistent high-level achievement.
4. Essential attributes include superior skills in financial and other quantitative analysis, written and oral communication, and the use of Excel and PowerPoint, along with keen attention to detail. Also desirable to have specific experience in acquisition or investment activities.
5. Must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a team and with people in other functions, to multi-task and to thrive in an unstructured environment.

Preferred

1. BA or BS undergraduate degree strongly desired
2. MBA and/or experience in a corporation is a plus.
3. Experience in technology and/or telecommunications is a plus.
