Celgene will have several Marketing internship opportunities available in different therapeutic areas. Opportunities may have a strategic or an in-line focus, and may be global or focused on the United States market. Interns will be assigned to a particular group prior to the start of the summer.
Principal Responsibilities For This Assignment Will Be:
Develop and execute marketing strategies and brand plans, working with cross-functional teams
Contribute to the successful launches of new indications and/or new products, developing and executing tactics to optimize product launches
Work closely with Sales and Sales Training to ensure seamless implementation of field-level marketing programs
Assess and analyze market opportunities to develop strategic plans for franchise and market expansion
Understand key market trends and competitive environment to drive deep market insights and guide commercial and development decisions
Skills/Knowledge Required:
BS in biology, chemistry, or related science, and/or a strong desire to learn relevant medical terminology, underlying science, and disease state information
Passion for the healthcare and biopharmaceutical industries
Excellent analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative assessment skills, critical thinking skills, and bility to synthesize complex facts into clear strategic direction
Adaptability and ability to work well across multiple departments and within teams
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Outstanding leadership skills. Ability to facilitate/manage cross-functional teams
Intellectual curiosity and ability to solve problems creatively
