• Work closely with the palm crop forecasting team and the Indonesian laurics trader. The person will be responsible for significant improvement of current Palm Kernel Oil Supply & Demand analysis. The main task is improvement in existing Palm Kernel Oil S&D; in terms of supply estimates by coordinating with crop analysts team and available market information.
• With help of lauric trader build an overview of oleo chemical capacity and usage of lauric oils domestically.
• Develop understanding of downstream business and demand drivers/economics in Oleo chemical sector.
• With help of laurics trader build overview of domestic food demand

Qualifications

* Requirements:*

Required:

• (Inter) national travel will be required

• Degree in Ag Economics, Economics, Statistics or similar field. Preferably Master’s degree in Ag Economics, Statistics or similar field

• Excellent communication skills and being able to communicate with global team members

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of MS Excel

• Experience in tropical oils analysis

• Experience with regression modeling
