| Description | Supports all aspects of the Optimum Store functional area through operational and operational analyses, process implementation, reporting, and research in order to achieve all departmental performance objectives in a multi-product environment under limited supervision. This includes the development, rollup, analysis, and review of activity and operating plans. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilizes and interprets the operational Optimum Store metrics to provide timely completion of trend and forecast variance analysis. Assists with operational expense approval by thoroughly and accurately validating expense authorization, account coding, and required back-up to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed. Collaborates with other functional and corporate departments, including Field Operations, Product Management, Staffing, and Employee Relations, to resolve business challenges related to Optimum Store business objectives. Works with Billing & Collections and Optimum Store management to develop and enhance existing reporting mechanisms, including those required for analysis of cash management, 100% order quality, commission plan, OT analysis, transaction data, and headcount. Analyzes and reports on trends and implements corrective action where required. Communicates through weekly/monthly meetings with Optimum Store Managing Director and Area Operation Managers the status of operating metrics and provides analysis and feedback for monthly and YTD results. Communicates with OS management and Business Planning staff regarding operational activities (e.g. Temp Help, CRC Sales) that may impact department financials. Establishes effective working relations with Optimum Store Management team to develop tools, which analyze and review operating metrics regarding Optimum Store objectives. SCOPE Conducts operational planning and forecasting, Statistical analysis on a business unit scope, and development and maintenance of operating performance metrics. This includes the development and maintenance of all Optimum Store operating objectives such as productivity, accuracy, and customer service. In addition, this position is responsible for the maintenance of Optimum Store operating expense, which includes but is not limited to normal day-to-day business expenditures, Sales Incentives as well as the monitoring of operating facility budget of assigned areas. |
| Qualifications | Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration Master’s degree a plus, minimum of 60 College credits required or military experience or technical/trade school certification. For internal candidates applying for other opportunities within the organization, the minimum educational requirement for college is strongly preferred but not required depending on relevant Cablevision work experience. -Strong knowledge of Windows-based computer software, including Microsoft Office, Access, and GroupWise, complete mastery of Microsoft Excel required. Preferred experience with Oracle, Peoplesoft, eTime, and Essbase. -5 plus years telecommunications or related experience required. Including but not limited to creating and maintaining key operating metrics for the business short term and long term goals. -5 plus years operational analysis experience including but not limited to forecasting processes and analysis. -Strong analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills, along with the aptitude to recognize, evaluate, and present opportunities for improvement in operational performance and efficiency. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment both on an individual basis and with a team. Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
