Position: Bid Manager

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Key Responsibilities:

· Produce competitive bids for rolling stock and service tenders.

· Manage tender clarifications and negotiations with customers.

· Lead functional bid teams.

· Determine and cascade target costing, manage functions and internal suppliers to achieve their cost targets.

· Elaborate and present bid approval documentation in compliance with bid approval process and directives.

· Identify capacities needed and manage resources to achieve business targets and to accomplish specific tasks.

· Define and secure the support of business partners.

· Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, i.e. customers, bid teams, divisional senior management, internal suppliers, headquarter functions, on all
relevant matters.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience:

· Bachelor Degree / MBA with minimum 8 - 10 years experience.

· Experience in bid management, project management, engineering, commercial affairs.

· Experience in bidding for and executing new built and service projects.

· Experience in business practices in Asia Pacific.

· Good analytical, organizational and communication skills.

· Strong team player/manager who possesses the influencing and motivation skills necessary to gain support of all team members and stakeholders.

· Drive for results, be persistent to solve problems.

· Open and international mindset.

· Customer focus.

· Proficient in English (verbal and written).

· Able to travel frequently.
