He/She is managing the team who is responsible forproject cost controlling and scheduling, as well as document controlling forthe capital investment projects (<200mil EU) in Asia Pacific.
Main Tasks:
- Take responsible to develop and timely update the cost controlling tools for capital investment projects (<200 mil EU) in Asia Pacific in close cooperation with GTE.
- Setup cost controlling procedures for the capital investment projects in Asia Pacific in accordance with BASF mandatory procedures, actively involve in updating of relevant globe procedures.
- Together with cost engineering team and project teams to set up project cost structure and agree on controlling / scheduling targets for the projects.
- Align BASF's scheduling procedures with Engineering partners to ensure the process and results in compliance of BASF's guideline and minimum requirement.
- Actively involve in cooperation/alignment of scheduling community, openly share Asia experience and inputs to help improvement of scheduling globally.
- Provide training to cost controllers/schedulers in technical community in Asia Pacific.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor degree with major in chemical process or chemical engineering mandatory - MBA or Master degree is preferable
- Working Experience: At least more than 8 years total work experiences; At least more than 6 years work experiences in chemical and petrochemical industry
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Proficient command of spoken and written English and Chinese (mandarin) skills is mandatory; Skilled and experience in relevant software/tools like MS Projects, MS Office and SAP
