- Exploring new business models (e.g. SaaS vs. Perpetual)
- Fine-tuning line optimization (e.g., What product offerings should be included in the Creative Cloud product line?)
- Improving market segmentation (e.g., creating programs and pricing for special markets such as the education market)
- Optimization of customer acquisition and retention levers (e.g., the relative mix of promotional pricing vs. referral programs, etc.)
Specific project(s) will be determined closer to the start date, but examples of past/potential projects include:
- Exploring the dynamics of pricing in app stores for the creative touch apps and Photoshop Elements and recommending pricing and business model strategies for this growing distribution channel.
- Conducting A/B testing to better understands the effectiveness of various promotional discounts and promotional messaging options.
- Researching and designing a loyalty program.
Regardless of the particular area of focus, the position will likely involve:
- Working cross-functionally to identify opportunities to drive incremental revenues
- Creating models to size opportunities and determine optimal business decisions
- Developing and present business cases to obtain executive approval
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and actively pursuing MBA Degree
- We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented individual -- a strategic thinker and analytical wiz with outstanding presentation skills, high initiative, and strong leadership potential.
- Work Experience. Most successful candidates will have 2-5 years of related experience, ideally including strategy consulting and/or business analysis for a Fortune 500 company. Industry experience is helpful, but not critical. The ideal candidate is likely to be a generalist with strong skills in a variety of disciplines such as strategy, marketing, pricing, finance. A proven ability to quickly frame issues and draft executive level business cases is key.
- Leadership Skills. Adobe is a highly matrixed organization, and this position may interact with a wide variety of business partners ranging from analysts to SVPs, so poise, leadership ability, and solid influencing skills are essential. Some cross-functional project management experience would be ideal.
- Technical Skills. Substantial experience in financial modeling and complex data analysis is desirable. Highly proficient on Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with market research and/or statistical analysis a plus.
