Responsibilities
 
As a management consultant, you will work with global companies and/or governments to analyze and address the complex issues they face. We offer clients a unique spectrum of end-to-end management consulting solutions that help them achieve high-performance. With Accenture Management Consulting, you could be involved in the strategic analysis and development, creation, design and build of new business models, through to helping clients integrate and operate them. You will:
  • Apply understanding of fundamental industry and strategic issues
  • Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities
  • Develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level
  • Drive transformational efforts that positively impact bottom line and/or market share
  • Leverage the power of Accenture's global reach and end-to-end capabilities to deliver value
  • Build functional and industry expertise
  • Participate in the development of personnel through project  leadership responsibilities and mentoring
As a Senior Manager in Resources you are expected to:-
  • Lead a team of practitioners in delivering projects across the Resources space. The scope of engagement may include but not limited to:-
    • Use of advanced research and investigative technique in understanding, analyzing, and development of cohesive conclusions.
    • Strong client engagement.
  • Assist in business development, including proposal development, proposal presentation, solution design, and contract negotiation.
  • Assists in market development activities, such as thought-leadership.

Qualifications
 
 
You should ideally have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Management Consulting/Strategy Consulting, specifically in Resources. This may include, but is not limited to, Chemicals, Natural Resources and Utilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business consulting or business transformation projects with electrical or gas utilities companies.
  • An excellent university degree.
  • MBA qualifications preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Familiarity with strategy consulting.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis results into business insights.
  • Sufficient charisma to facilitate client workshops and presentations.
  • Passion to deliver value for our clients.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
