Job Description:

Analytics professionals use quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data. 

Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives. 

Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.

Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. 

Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

The Sales Analytics leads play a critical role in helping to build Accenture's North American analytics practice in banking, insurance and wealth management. This position will be responsible for helping to sell and deliver complex and innovative analytics engagements. In addition, the position will support the Sales Analytics Offering lead in the development of relevant offering strategies, assets, capabilities and resources. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in both the Financial Services industry and Consulting.  This individual will have acted as the business lead for projects such as: lead management analytics, sales pipeline analytics, territory alignment analytics, sales force sizing analytics, incentive compensation modeling.

I. In support of the FS Analytics Practice:
 
Delivery

* Capable of leading large-scale customer and channel analytics engagements 
* Manage day-to-day aspects of multiple projects; oversees teams; reviews high-level deliverables; ensures compliance to Accenture processes and policies; manages scope and risk; manages to and achieves project revenue goals 
* Capable of acting as chief Value Architect to ensure all customer and channel engagements identify and deliver maximum value for  client 
* Identifies opportunities for additional client value creation / Accenture sales for existing customers; 
* Supports chief solution/technical/data architects with smooth transition of analytic consulting engagements / POC into analytics managed service / run solutions 

Relationship Development

* Contributes to the development of relationships with analytics executives across key FS clients 
* Identifies and cultivates long-term client relationships; positions Accenture as a valued partner and leading innovator in analytics; brings Accenture's leading thinking and expertise to the client 
* Participates in and brings customer and channel analytics expertise to the client account planning process

Business Development

* Helps shape and deliver customer and channel analytics presentations to client  
* Raises our visibility and credibility through participation in client workshops and meetings 
* Helps shape analytics solutions (activities, resourcing, pricing) to meet key client 
* Helps shape and deliver customer and channel analytic proposals, including participation in orals presentations

II. In support of the Sales Offering lead:
 
Contribute to Offering and Image Development -

* Helps shape customer and channel analytics strategy and industry offerings 
* Supports offering marketing / education within Accenture 
* Supports thought-capital leadership 
* Builds networks and relationships within FS industries and participates in FS external forums to enhance Accenture Analytics market position

Asset and Solution Development

* Helps develop delivery and sales assets which support customer and channel analytics offerings 
* Helps shape the development of customer and channel 'managed service solutions' through the Accenture product development process 

Practice Capability Development 

* Helps drive identification, recruitment and integration of skilled analytic resources into the practice 
* Contributes to the mentoring and development of high performing resources 
* Helps shape and deliver training to increase skills of analytics resources 
* Helps shape and deliver education programs to help industry partners / teams understand customer and channel analytics

Alliance management

* Helps identify, develop and manage relationships with key analytics partners 
* Helps build analytics partner capabilities into Accenture offerings and solutions 
* Facilitates the introduction of analytic partners into Accenture and to Accenture client teams 
* Manages a pipeline of work associated with analytics partner

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree, MBA preferred 
* Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales analytics 
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets) consulting
