Jino Ahn

Jino Ahn

Founder & President

In 2009, Jino organized the first-ever annual Asian MBA Leadership Conference and Career Expo, similar to the highly influential Black MBA and Hispanic MBA conferences. With 2,500 attendees and over 120 exhibitors, the conference became the largest and most influential event to take place within the United States for the Asian professional community.

Having attended the Black MBA and Hispanic MBA conferences and having been in the diversity space for over two decades through various projects, Jino strongly felt a need to have a similar, sustainable platform for the Asian professionals. The inaugural 2009 event served as a launching pad for bringing to fruition Jino’s aspirations of starting the National Association of Asian MBAs (NAAMBA) which was launched at the 2nd Annual Asian MBA Leadership Conference and Career Expo in 2010. As the Founder and President of NAAMBA, Jino’s vision of NAAMBA is to create an inclusive community of Asian professionals where they have the ability, through dialogue and sharing of ideas, perspectives and experiences, to advance to new professional heights.

Jino earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & International Business from New York University and an MBA from Baruch College, with a concentration in human resource management. Jino served in the U.S. Army Reserve through the R.O.T.C. program achieving the honorable rank of First Lieutenant. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant and Certified Diversity Consultant. Jino is also involved in various organizations, including serving as the current President of the Korean Alumni Association of New York University, as well as a Founding Board Member of the Asian Healthcare Leaders Association. He makes frequent appearances as a speaker at various events throughout New York City, on radio, and on television. In January 2011, Jino was appointed by the Boy Scouts of America to lead the Leadership Mission Critical Task Force Committee "Establishing Boy Scouts of America as an Employer Brand."

He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
