SAP is currently recruiting for a Sales Executive for its OEM Sales division in Japan. As part of the Ecosystem and Channels group, the OEM sales team is a highly successful organization that is responsible for partners that embed, bundle, or resell primarily SAP products, with a specialization on SAP's Platform technologies, including, Business Analytics, Database and Technology, and Mobility solutions.
The OEM Sales Executive - Hunter role is responsible for recruiting and driving revenue from new OEM partners. The candidate is expected to drive exponential growth in license sales via net new ISV, SI, and hardware/device partners. Interested applicants should be a seasoned sales professional with experience in dramatically growing sales in indirect or partner sales organizations, preferably with a background in OEM or ISVs. Driving large, strategic, multi-year partnerships will be a key component of the role. The successful candidate will be able to work within a matrix team environment and be able to leverage cross functional resources to achieve goals.
Proven sales skills, good technical knowledge and a business acumen including strong communication skills. Successful candidates should also have a keen awareness of software industry (key players, strategies, software trends). Must be able to effectively • Overachieve regional sales quotas • Negotiate royalty based agreements and OEM legal contracts • Thrive in a high-paced, results-driven organization • Liaise with local country SAP executives • Work with Presales, HR, IT, Finance, Support and other supporting teams • Communicate in written and spoken Japanese and English.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Bachelors degree preferably in business, MBA an asset Min 5 years successful software sales background Experience in a multi-national, multi-lingual work environment is preferred History in OEM/ISV software sales would be an asset Understanding of SAP Platform products (including Business Analytics, Databases, HANA, and Mobility) are preferred
