Responsible for coordinating successful launch into production & volume ramp of LED products and/or technologies.  Scope of effort is worldwide / multi-regional, and spans multiple functions across the corporation.  The position requires a technically grounded individual with a broad-based and varied skill set / experience, with priority on communication, multi-tasking, and issue resolution.

Minimum Qualification
 
  • BS Degree in Electronics, Optics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Masters or MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Program Management including broad scope international, multi-tier supply chain programs
  • Demonstrated capability with both technical and logistical risk assessment & risk mitigation, critical path assessment and contingency planning, “forward vision” issues identification and avoidance planning
  • Proven ability to take decisive action and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced cross-functional organization and highly competitive industry
  • Excellent internal and external communication & interpersonal skills; experience developing and delivering executive level & customer presentations
  • Vision to enable the drive to solutions - "what does it take?" compared to "is it possible?
Duties / Responsibilities
  1. Program management encompassing internal functional groups, possibly suppliers & supply chain partners, and possibly customer(s) on an international scope.
 
  1. Significant involvement with product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and other functional groups for purpose of scheduling and issues comprehension & resolution.
 
  1. Define, document, & communicate the critical path, timeline, issues lists.
 
  1. Chair cross-functional meetings to drive milestones – typically spanning multiple locations / geographic regions.
 
  1. Weekly status publication including risk assessment, risk mitigation, path forward.
  2. Managing assigned Product Development project, from early concept, thru design & development, NPI/transfer to manufacturing.
 
  1. Ensure readiness of component piece part development experience - drawings, specification, qualification, documentation related to vendor/subcon operations
 
  1. DFx experience - Design For Assembly, DFQuality, DFManufacturability, DFTest, DFCost
 
  1. Reliability testing & qualification involvement during product development.
 
  1. Cost model discussion & validation with regards to product development.
 
  1. Utilise manufacturing process development experience - parameters of significance, typical document types, industrial engineering fundamentals, etc.
 
  1. Manufacturing experience across product and process types (not singular focus), "dock to stock" (from incoming materials thru finished goods inventorying)
 
  1. Semiconductor manufacturing process familiarity
 
  1. NPI materials coordination involvement.
 
  1. Adopting Business Creation Process (BCP) comprehensive understanding - lifecycle phases, phase gate review elements, etc.
 
  1. Adopting applicable practice of Quality Systems to product development.
 
  1. Cross-cultural, cross-functional responsibilities & experience, both local & global
 
  1. Superior communication and team building skills with demonstrated results in delivering of the goods (specific examples pls)
 
  1. Willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
 
  1. Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
