In alignment with CPMO, Geography, and product-level positioning and messaging, support and build localized go-to-market strategy and campaigns in order to increase New York market Field sales relationships and revenues through interpretation of key solutions and outcomes publicity, awareness, research, and thought leadership activities, positioning Pearson as the leading K12 learning solutions and materials provider. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain knowledge of all North America go-to-market strategies and campaigns and be able to adapt to local field and large market initiatives
  • Advise selling teams in translation and localization of national marketing strategies and messages related to custom solutions, content, pricing, competition, bundling options, etc.; monitor and conduct lead gen and win/loss analysis in relation to these efforts
  • Provide marketing planning, solutions, and content area expertise to sales function; travel when appropriate to support sales activity
  • Coordinate with marketing communications team to execute at the local level (e.g. targeted pitches, customer specific events)
  • When appropriate and feasible, assist sales-side field marketing teams in support of local field sales events (e.g., symposia, institutes, webinars, etc.)
  • Provide product and customer feedback to Line of Business and Geography campaign management
  • Support local development of RFPs when appropriate

Outcomes

Develop and coordinate new plans and content that provide customer value, generate successful marketawareness of Pearson solutions, and support meeting and exceeding revenue objectives for responsible area in K12 North America market.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective problem solving and decision making skills. Bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of education and significant experience and demonstrated successful multi-project integrations. Requires significant management experience working across complex teams. 10+ years of relevant experience and/or 8 + years of management and area-specific experience in addition to post-secondary coursework. Graduate degree or MBA preferred.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

K12 market experience in area of specified responsibility.
