Job Description Position Purpose 
Serving as the lead for strategy and operations, working closely with the Global Head of BD&L and the BD&L team to drive excellence in strategy and operations for the Oncology BD&L group. Functioning as a BD&L professional for CDx and oncology projects. 

Major Accountabilities: 
- Secretary of Oncology Deal Committee (ODC), responsible for organizing the ODC agenda, meetings, meeting minutes, tracking action items 
- Lead for BD&L input to OBU strat plan, Pharma and Group strategic reviews such as Top 3 Assets, M&A target list, pipeline reviews, etc. 
- Lead and support CDx and oncology BD&L projects (S&E, negotiations, alliance management) 
- Point person for BD&L process documents and audit related matters 
- Responsible for ECC BD&L update reports 
- Interface to Pharma Deal Leadership Team (DLT), Group Deal Committee (DC), ECN and BoD approval process 
- Managing logistics for BD&L Ad Boards 
- Coordinating overall BD&L conference/meeting coverage 
- Managing OBU BD&L Project Tracker and DLT Priority Report 

Key Performance Indicators 
- Effectively work with Global Head of BD&L and team and contribute to making BD&L a well-oiled machine 
- Effective interface with key internal and external stakeholders, representing BD&L 
- Orderly and efficient input to various senior management strategic review documents 
- Effective project lead/support for CDx and oncology projects 
- Orderly and timely delivery of well vetted ODC pre-reads, productive and efficient ODC meeting, clear minutes and consistent follow-up on action items 
- Satisfactory audits 
- BD&L updates well received by ECC 
- Orderly and efficient interactions with various governance processes 
- Efficient and cost effective BD&L Ad Boards 
- Well-coordinated conference coverage throughout the year with efficient meeting coverage at conferences 
- Orderly and timely delivery of Project Tracker and Priority Report

Minimum requirements - Ph.D. in biomedical sciences /MD, MBA, with work experiences in life sciences (Pharma, biotech, consulting, banking, investing, etc.)
