Team and Culture Description:

The Sr. Director of Marketing leads the Asia-Pac Marketing organization

at Motorola Mobility. This includes leading 360 degree integrated

marketing activation for all Asia-Pac countries (excluding China).

Responsible for developing and aligning Asia-Pac marketing strategy

with business goals; and building, leading and coaching a best-in-class

marketing team to drive business and brand growth.


Scope of Responsibilities:

Develops and implements 360 degree integrated marketing for new

product introductions in support of AP business objectives.

Responsible for marketing across all consumer touch-points (both push &

pull), driving awareness, consideration, engagement, point of purchase, &


Optimizes marketing mix and investment allocation to reach business &

brand objectives.

Develops annual marketing plans aligned based on Global Marketing

strategy; and manages quarterly planning process including “say/do”


Accountable for applying consumer insights, data analytics, ROI analysis,

and best practice knowledge to deliver strong marketing activation plans.

Responsible for building and maintaining strategic marketing relationships

with AP customers

Manages AP marketing resources: budget, agencies, and people.

Leads definition of Marketing scorecard and continuous tracking of


Basic Qualification:
Brand management & 360 degree integrated marketing experience
Strong creative problem solver and innovative thinker with experience
delivering results through innovative marketing approaches and limited
Proven track record of leading a team to deliver marketing and business
success in Asia-Pac for a medium - to large- sized company in a highly
competitive industry
Ability to influence and persuade peers and management through
analytics and logic.
At least 15 years of previous experience in marketing, preferably in areas
related to current job description
Business oriented and customer driven
Leader, team player, proactive and problem-solving attitude
Superior strategic, operational and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA-level education·
Solid understanding of wireless carrier, retail and e-tailer business models
Previous experience in marketing, preferably within the wireless or
consumers electronics industry
Wireless industry, agency management, and research experience a plus.
