Honeywell: Strategic Marketing MBA Intern - China - Ask questions and engage in discussions with other members on Asian MBA

The Honeywell Aerospace Asia Pacific Marketing & Strategic Planning team is seeking an experienced, energetic, self-starter individual who will support the development of market based strategies to enable growth in the high-growth APAC region. This person will be responsible for leading or supporting the 5-year Asia Pacific Strategic Planning process through market analysis, growth plan, and functional alignment. The person will also lead development of strategies to address specific needs for certain products, customer segments or geographic regions.

The critical factors for success include the ability to effectively frame and communicate complex market issues in a concise manner (both written and orally), strong interviewing and market research skills, and an ability to work across functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Job responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development, production, and communication of the Asia Pacific Strategic Plan
-Collect business and competitive intelligence. Analyze customers' and competitors' strategies and determine implications for Honeywell's ability to differentiate in the marketplace
- Perform segmentation analysis and develop the strategy that fits our competencies
- Support the development of partnering strategies and the execution of those strategies
- Support other APAC strategy marketing or business development activities

Qualifications

Requirements include:
-MBA candidate — Marketing and/or Strategy
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline
-Good written and verbal communications skills in English and in Mandarin
-3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, BD, or other relevant business areas
-Excellent team building and membership skills; ability to lead and thrive in a matrix environment
-Entrepreneurial thinking, proactive “can-do” attitude
-Skills in Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint & Excel
