The DuPont Finance MBA Program offers an opportunity for a customized career path to prepare you to assume leadership roles. Experienced MBA new hires are assigned to support one of our business units where they will gain valuable exposure to significant business issues and initiatives or key functions, such as Treasury. You will benefit from the structured mentorship of corporate leaders and a network of community peers, along with the opportunity for exposure to the diverse businesses within DuPont. You will also learn and understand how DuPont’s core values of ethical behavior, safety, respect for people, and environmental stewardship differentiate our Company and our employees.
Assignments are primarily located in Wilmington, Delaware, the corporate headquarters as well as the site headquarters for several DuPont businesses. Opportunities may also be available in other company locations.
DuPont Finance Analysts for MBAs - FinMBA Program 2015
Typical primary responsibilities of financial analysis roles may include:
- · Provide financial expertise for special projects and business decisions.
- · Prepare profit objectives and outlooks and lead regular review meetings.
- · Interact with various levels of business leadership and respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
- · Management reporting and analysis: Analyze monthly results and provide explanations for variances. Coordinate monthly reporting package.
- · Analyze results and determine root causes of variances.
- · Ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and useful.
- · Initiate improvements to simplify work processes and improve data quality.
- · Develop and monitor various metrics and benchmarking information.
Candidates for the MBA Program must possess these qualifications:
- · MBA degree with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, corporate strategy, or general management
- · Three or more years of relevant financial or business work experience
- · Demonstrated leadership experience
- · Strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to rapidly understand the business model, the financial goals and the business terminology.
- · Exceptional interpersonal skills, including networking, relationship building and influence management
- · Effective writing/verbal communication, and presentation skills
- · Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs and experience with mainframe systems.
- · Highly effective at dealing with and making sense of uncertain situations.
- · Authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
