Human Resources supports our company's needs with benefit/compensation support, organizational development and recruiting. Reporting to Head of Compensation and Benefits APAC, the incumbent will be part of the Regional HR team sitting in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the day to day activities for employee benefits (medical plans, risk insurances, leave policies) for the APAC region and lead international well being initiatives in APAC.
  • Lead insured benefits (e.g. medical, life insurance, AD&D)  and leave policy review projects for APAC liaising with country HR, HR operations, third party providers, legal, international/global C&B team.
  • Develop and update benefit communication materials, policy, procedures, intranet content and employee portals to reflect ongoing changes in benefit arrangements working with Corporate Communications.
  • Provide benefit information, guidance and support to members of the HR team as appropriate and handle individual enquiries with third party providers.
  • Management of vendor activities, including liaison with service provider & vendor management team for contracts, invoice payment and costs reconciliation.
  • In conjunction with Head of Compensation and Benefits APAC, implement procedures and processes to maintain legal/regulatory compliance for all regional plans and work with the HR operations team - payroll support and Finance to ensure effective management and co-ordination of benefit costs budgets, liabilities, payments and accruals.
  • Lead on implementation of well being initiatives including promotion of special events and activities, Seasonal Influenza vaccination programme, EAP and roll out of global well being initiatives working with international and global well being.
  • Maintain knowledge of best practices in the design and delivery of benefits including management of external benchmarking of plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s or Professional degree
  • Around 5 years related experience
  • Good knowledge of benefits best practices and regulations in one or more APAC jurisdictions
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Very good English language capability required. Any other Asian language will be advantageous
