Autodesk is in a growth mode and now is a fantastic time for an experienced and dynamic HR Partner to join the team in the APAC region and make their mark in a great company. The HR Partner/ HR Manager Singapore functions as a generalist in a variety of Human Resources activities for Singapore. Provides direct client support in all areas of HR including manager coaching, employee counseling, staffing, HR administration and training supporting vertical HR Business Partners. This position reports to Sr. HR Manager APAC based out of Singapore. The person will be based at Singapore.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Business Support 
 Support Engineering/ Sales Organization supporting 350+ employees throughout the complete employee life cycle. This may include change management and org design. 
 Support Vertical HRBPs/ Managers with local advice (equity checks, labor law, market practice, employee morale in the country)
 On-boarding: Conducts all induction/on-boarding related efforts for new hires, transfers, etc.
 May be expected to conduct final Interviews with candidates based in the country and contribute to creating the offer with the hiring manager (equity) & Talent Acquisition Team
 Recommends and delivers local solutions covering multiple areas of human resources including employment, local benefits, records administration
 May provide Training, Equal Employment Opportunity / affirmative action, employee / labor relations or other services. 
 Provide interpretation and counsel to Managers on local policies, programs and practices - including employee relations and employee reward matters
 Provide guidance and coaching on team or individual performance and performance management in agreement with Vertical HRBPs
 Assist employees and managers settle work-related conflicts through advice and recommendations in consultation with HRBPs. 
 Counsel employees concerning work related problems and issues, escalate awareness as necessary
 Conducts disciplinary and grievance meetings, or other such formal meetings as required by local law, for example, flexible working applications
 Manage HR related investigation in cooperation with legal and ER team
 Educate Geo clients (Managers or vertical HRBPs) on the appropriate application of relevant compensation philosophy, strategies and potential impact on the business / geo
 Administration of Benefits and communication to the employees 

Partnering with internal Centers of Excellence: 
 In partnership with COEs, recommend and obtain necessary approval on local HR policies, practices and processes to meet legislative and other requirements. Implement/ Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved results.
 Liaise with subject matter experts within the broader Human Resources function (Talent Acquisition / Comp & Benefits/ Global Mobility Team / HRIS/ Training & OD) to provide consultancy and advice based on local market practice and experience.
 Collaborate with TA and management in delivering offer letters and employment contracts that are compliant with local/ regional employment laws in Singapore/ ASEAN
 Work in liaison with compensation team and key stakeholders in HR team on compensation and benefits strategy for ASEAN
 Implements redeployment decisions and staffing within partner groups as and when needed based on organizational/ business need
 Assist on M&A work for the region / country
 Support Tax and Local Audits 
 Support Vertical HRBPs in Training, Facilitation based on clear goals from Vertical HRBPs
 Work with Global Mobility to manage employee relocations in and out of the region

Support Site Leadership Team: 
 Support/Work with local Management Teams on HR/Communication strategies - All Hands, Events, Market HR, Training Classes, Facilities, Employee survey recommendations, crisis management for the region
 Work with Sr. HR Manager/ Site leadership teams to drive engagement – also support corporate branding initiatives such - Best places to work / GPTW
 Work with site leadership teams to manage crisis / crisis communication
 Drive regional or country-specific compliance initiatives- which includes, providing guidance to Site Leadership regarding current regulatory changes impacting the human resources. Address improper actions immediately to reduce company risk and exposure
 Primary representative / contact point of ADSK HR in GEO or Country from an external stakeholder in GEO such as local labor office, HR service suppliers etc.

HR Administration/ Operations: 
• HR Policies, practices and processes: Monitor effectiveness of HR policies, practices and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness. Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved business results. 
• TA: May support managers with their recruiting efforts across a division or group; (May) screen resumes and applications and may interview candidates; Troubleshoot as applicable.
• M&A: Supports acquisitions, participating in due diligence through post close integration as required 
• May conduct exit interviews and provides turnover trends and analysis to senior management/HRBP, (may partner w/ Specialist/Ops for reporting). Manage redeployments as necessary by collaborating with Management, HRBP, legal counsel and benefits staff. 
• Team Dynamics: Create positive team dynamics throughout division by facilitating team-building activities or engaging other resources for example New Manager Assimilation.

Requirement: 
Knowledge of Human Resources: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field . MBA/MS is preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 10 -12 years of work experience in Human Resources functions, preferably in mid-to-large size businesses, high-tech company is strongly preferred

HR Legal and Regulatory Environment & Employee Relations : Strong command and current knowledge of Singapore/ ASEAN labor laws and regulations in order to provide guidance and leadership on employee relations issues in the region
